Can you take a thing or situation that you perceive to be negative, and change how you react to it? (if you want to react to it in a different way, that is). React to the world as you prefer. Live in the reality that you most prefer. You.have.that.power.

Yes, yet that is no real enemy either
It may seem that way, bc it may resist where we truly want to go, from the inside...
Also that pull of the ego, back and forth, back and forth...
However going deeper, and transcending the duality of this, we may discover that the opposite working forces, in their 'struggle' embodies a deeper soul-quality for us to embrace...
That way we may transform this inner enemy into a friend that points out where we need to work, where we need to go deeper...
You could also say it like, the resistance you meet on the way to yourself, makes your stronger and makes you more aware of the path you travel...
For there to be a free choice in the first place, there need to be some sort of polarity, bc what would there be to chose from otherwise...
That the duality and the two ways pull may have been too extreme and not easy to see through in this reality is also true, yet now we have to deal with it as it is...
That way, we'll transcend the free choice into something that provides true learning and heart-soul-spirit cooperation and balance, rather than secrecy and games...
