I am a Master Mason, and 32 degree Scottish Rite Freemason. I am a Christian, and find no dilemma in my faith and my affiliation with the Lodge or the Temple. I was raised almost five years ago to the day. My Reunion was conducted in July, 2012.
I have found nothing to discredit Masonry. I too am completely baffled as to why so many people believe that Masons are some type of evil organization. It is truly about making good men better men...nothing more.

I spent over ten years in the Marine Corps infantry. I’ve seen the entire world, more than once unfortunately. I’ve seen the good, and the BAD. I believe I have a pretty good understanding of world…in some ways I wish I didn’t. I’m not saying you’re not a knowledgeable person. You very well may be. But, don’t for one second think I’m some blinded fool walking about with my head in the clouds. I was raised a Christian, saved and baptized at the age of 12, and attended church every Sunday morning, Sunday night, and again on Wednesday. I have several Baptist preachers in my family, and two foreign missionaries. I’ve seen good men baptized in the desert, and raised a Master Mason the next night. I’ve experienced a lot in my time on this rock….but I would never assume that I’m always the smartest guy in the room. However, I don’t ever think I’m the dumbest either. Humility,…try it on for size sometimes. You people blow my mind! You can go to church all you choose, but that doesn't mean you know anything about the christ and your words prove it. Yes, the furthest from a Christed heart is a self serve one!
