I don't know. Some people so ensnared in negativity just feel the need to lash out at ANYTHING positive. It's water under the bridge though. :)

Nice thoughts OP; and well written.

A few points. Divide and conquer is an age old maxim used by countless persons in power. Nothing new there. Yes we may be aware of the tactic, but the web is so thick now, and the cloud so dense, that what is real truth is practically impossible to discern for even the most astute.

Also, the 'sheople' many of us often refer to, merely represent the median tenor of what it means to be human. When you get right down to it, psychologically, we are really not that separated from our ancestors. It's still a daily struggle for most just to survive. Much energy is devoted to satisfying basic needs. What's left only allows us to spend time with those we love and pursue ambitions that balance our contentment with life. So, there is very little, if any, left to open our eyes to the 'big' picture. And even more daunting is the fact that, for many, to accept the reality of their plight would shatter any semblance of sanity they desperately cling to.

Some of us are lucky in that we perceive 'the man behind curtain' is not truely being honest with us. However, as previosly noted, the murkiness of what's true and what's fiction is, by design, cleverly crafted to deceive. And because of this, it's all we can do to maintain a hold on what we know to be true, lest we be led astray into self doubt. And that friends, is another goal of the deception.

The one question I have is what makes you believe we will be invaded by anonther country. In my opinion, that has already happened long ago. But not in the traditional sense of a military invasion. It is my contention that the threat is being fomented to emerge from within. An orchestrated breakdown of society that will result in people fighting amongst each other for basic survival. If this were to happen, no invasion is necessary.

This is a touchy subject. There is an inherent evil in this world that most people are afraid to see or they just feel comfortable being kept in the dark, as long as, they have their personal possessions to keep to warm and snug. Just how do you take to the streets or approach others about these concepts, without sounding like a total wackjob? Believe me, I would love to have the power to wake up people on cue, but in almost all my personal dealings, I'm met with either a blank stare or just plain outright denial. In these instances, I'm not dropping bombshell conspiracy on them, it's just idle conversation about world events. For example, I was talking with a friend the other day about the Pope and his "retirement for health reasons". I asked him whether he thought there might be more to the story, because a Pope usually serves until death, whether they are incapacitated or not. My friend said, "well he's very ill and wants to step aside for someone more fit for the role". It was the typical answer I would expect from someone who has no ability to think on their own and just accept what is spoon fed.

You almost have to give credit to the schools for having such an influence on children, as to have robbed them of any free thinking and will that they once possessed before entering the system.

I agree with kindadistorted re your ideals and the negativity. I've also decided to lead by example and if the time ever comes when the shit does hit the fan hopefully I will be able to help the stunned ones.

I'm really not sure, BS Smeller. It's merely something I have dreams/visions of but I don't apply any weight to them because I'm not a prophet nor do I claim to be one. I, too, agree that this invasion has been ongoing and the ENEMY is already embedded firmly within this SYSTEM here on our home turf. I think my whole point in this thread was that we need to stand together, somehow. We cannot fight this war alone - and even if we don't fight, we will still not survive alone either. If we could somehow come together and utilize what skills, resources, trades, talents and gifts we possess to aide one another in these coming days then we might actually become a force to be reckoned with.

But that's not going to happen, IMO. How could it? I cant imagine any country or group of countries wanting to. However, my point is not to suggest that the tide should turn toward an invasion of the US (since I dont see that happening) but that it support independence from its formidable presence in all aspects of "foreigners" lives. Afterall, you only fear that as a possibility,,, but we have to live with it...

HAM operators are limited to transmitting only on certain ranges of frequencies depending upon the level of their license, i.e. my technician(beginners)license allows transmitting/broadcasting on a few different ones, but the more advanced licenses permit use of additional bands. Anyone, licensed or not can receive/listen to all bands.

An alternate HAM frequency in addition to the primary one would be useful.

Transmitting on HAM radio can be very problematic in troubled times and that needs to be dealt with but at a later date and with guidance from those more experienced than I.

Well, for that we can look to history to instruct us. While modern technology presents new challenges, the basic equation is the same. When the 'masses' have had enough, there will be an uspswelling of resistance to recalibrate society. It's a cycle, and we're close to witnessing, IMHO, the wave reversing its course.

Well...I think it makes sense to have the first meet up be right here on GLP in an empty chat room. That way we can get the word out quite easily on here for anyone on here first who might be interested. Then go from there and add layers for intel as we see fit. Unfortunately, I can't message you back, but I can receive messages, since I only hold a basic membership here.

Thank you for sharing with GLP'ers. Very eloquently written. If I were to run into someone someday, who is also a GLP'er, a common bond would be automatically established, one which would build PLENTY of insightful conversation.

I share the exact same sentiment. Sometimes I'll meet someone who is 'in the know' about certain things and I'll ask out of curiosity if they are a GLP'er and I've yet to meet a single one. I can't wait for that day though. :)

I read you loud and clear. I am 'locked' and they are 'loaded' I'm sure. Though I will tread carefully. I know good and well my days are numbered. That is why I live each day to the fullest. And I like that..a modern "Monastery Monk". I use to always want to be a monk except I'm called to the married life and very much in love so the celibate, solitary style is not for me.

Maybe it is the commie red fist symbol that got em... I know i wouldn't use it.. maybe you should change the title to "forward".
