This is a valid point and certainly a fear many of us share - but how long must we cower in the dark? I think we will be pleasantly surprised if and when we step boldly into the light.

I like this thread and everything in the OP's sentiments.  It is an illusionary concept we buy into - believing that Light and Dark are separate. :) We NEED both. Just as the SEED needs the total Darkness of the soil it lays in - and the LIGHT of the SUN to bring it to fruition. We cannot hide from the Dark nor can we shield ourselves from the LIGHT. :) I agree but people seem to confuse darkness with evil, and have merged them together to be one inside of their minds. I feel they're completely separate things. It always baffles me how people equate Darkness with Evil. That is the old, superstitious mind of mankind. This is a fear-based mentality. We always FEAR what we do not KNOW. Just as a child is afraid of the dark. When we grow up we come to embrace the dark and find peace and rest in it. When you turn the lights off at night to go to bed, do you think you are dwelling in Evil? No. This is just foolish and I pray every day that we grow out of that mindset.
