An observation about the dogs searching the roof:
Yes, they missed her scent, but it had been 2 whole weeks since she was there. What I'm saying is the dogs missing her scent after that amount of time does nor prove she didn't walk on the roof.
If they'd missed it the day after she was there then it might prove something, but not after two weeks. The hound aren't infallible.

This is exactly the reason "333" started this thread. Many of us feel the same way. The media is either not asking questions (because they have been told not to) or are not sharing the answers for the same reason. After Newtown, we were inudated ad nauseum with interviews, information (noted most of it false), etc.

I feel the same way "333" does. This young woman/girl was a victim in the worst sense of the word. She is repeatedly being victimized with the lack of information.

Maybe if many folks would call the news outlets and stations asking why there is so much "lack of coverage" in such a sinister case...maybe they would be pressured in some guilt of conscience.

If so many of us feel the heaviness of this, then there has to be someone close to it that does also.

I think calling media outlets would be a great start. I will gladly volunteer starting tomorrow morning.

I think calling LOCAL media outlets in our respective communities would be a better start. Hounding and pressuring the major Mainstream Media might present a few roadblocks.

1. Someone stalked and killed her

2. Suicide

3. Demon possessed

As I just posted in the other thread.

Her trip to California was planned in December as part of WWOOF work experience at Santa Cruz. When this didn't pan out she turned it into a tourist thing travelling alone and staying at cheap places. She had fun in San Diego at the Speakeasy.

Her new-found love for adventure seems to have come from being placed on a cocktail of new meds (four different kinds, strong stuff including the infamous Adderall) and being on an upswing of her recurring hypomanic condition.

Whether she was murdered, died in some kind of accident during an episode of illness or committed suicide in a bizarre way, it is a very sad story with some deeply weird and unexplainable details. She was an exceptionally gifted person by all accounts.

Elisa is a sweet young lady. Those that spoke with her around the hotel stated she was sweet, kind, mannerly, etc.
She is just a young excited about life 21 yr old who wanted to see California.

Her name, "Elisa Lam" became poignant when a couple of days after they discovered her body there was a so-called outbreak of a new strain of TB (tuberculosis) and the antigen they were using to test for it with was a new antigen called "LAM Elisa".

The outbreak happened 2 or 3 mins away from the Cecil Hotel where Elisa's body was found, in a mission for the homeless.

I've volunteered with WWOOF. I wish there was some way to find out WHO she was planning on staying with in Santa Cruz. o.O

I know she was from Canada but I did a us people search just to see how common the name is; 21 came up. 3 are 21 yrs of age...one address CA one MA and one NJ....more oddities to add to the case.

Interesting info if true. But how does this explain the TB antigen name and all of the other far to coincidental happenings. I am sure there are those that would have us believe it was that simple.
