You are Peter and upon this Rck I shall build my Church. Christs very own words   Yes he said it... Upon this rock ... He was talking about this earth not a church... The church is each individual... Not a building... Just as the Pope said I will still work for her... Sophia... The Queen of Darkness... Nice try but wrong. People did not use the name Peter ("Petros") as a name until Christ gave that name to the Apostle Peter. That was the first time Peter was used for someones name. And that name Peter is translated as rock/stone. This is what Christ is referring to. good point !
