But there was one person... ONE... who actually made me stop and think for a second about who Christ really was. What he would have done. How he would have spoke to and received people's of different faith, cultures, moralities, and so on. And that one person was Pope John Paul II. I don't care if he was the shoe shine boy. The fact is that his words, his books (yes... he had books published, I have many of them) and his actions really spoke to me about how we should all treat each other. He didn't ramble on about the devil and other dumbass bullshit. He led by example like Christ did. He loved, he scolded, he admonished, but he never hated!

I can not believe that any one, any where, for any reason would or could believe that this man is an anti-christ. WTF?

Don't take it personally, but a number of priests have been shown to be pedophiles. Surely others are, who have not been caught. And if there's even a small chance that MY priest is a pedophile, do you think I should bring my children to that institution?

And now since we are at GLP we should look at this from another point of view. According to the church all this rumours of depravation and economic mismanagement are attempts to influence the result of the Conclave.
As a direct result of this accusations Cardinal O'brien will not be part of the Conclave which will mean the UK church will have no say on whom will be the next Pope. Cardinal O'brien could be considered a conservative member of the Conclave and his vote wouldn't have gone to a candidate who was a reformer. He is of the ilk of the salient Pope, steady as it goes. Surely he wouldn't have voted for a non-European as next Pope when a said non-European I mean westerner.

This is the Conclave that is meant to choose Peter the Roman the last Pope, the false prophet, the shepherd that will witness the destruction of the Rome and the church. Evil might be working behind the scenes and then again it might all be bullshit.

Still interesting times and a process well worth keeping an eye on.
