Default is the inevitable end result of Keynesian economic policy.

The longer the politicians keep propping up the current deficit spending programs of the Keynesians the worse the crash is going to be, it is inevitable.

I understand their point of view and why they support the current system, it's what keeps them in power and that is all they are concerned with.

They are corrupt beyond the ability of most people to understand.

The only good news is their days are numbered and that number get smaller and smaller by the hour.
