Re: CAN YOU RUN IN YOUR DREAM
same thing happens to me.

whether i am running towards or away from something it is like i am barely moving.

i've also had dreams where if i am in a fight it is like my fists are moving in slow motion.

Me too, run is impossible. Sometimes walking too is very hard, like you are in water up to your waist.

Re: CAN YOU RUN IN YOUR DREAM
Yes it has happened to me a few times. I've also been able to run REALLY fast and in other situations I was able to run but not as fast as I wanted..

Something I just remembered. Around 2009 or 2010 I was sick for a whole week, I'm not sure what happened to me as I don't visit doctors and don't plan to. I simply lay down on the couch for that week and was not even eating very well. It was raining season and during that same week hundreds of people died on Rio de Janeiro after landslides..

At the end of that week I had a certain dream during the night. I was running, really, really fast, I didn't know what I was running from but I just knew I had to keep running. Then suddendly I had this tick and I didn't want to run anymore, I had to face that thing I was running from.

I stopped and started going back. I ran through some trees and found an open clear field. There was a creature standing there, much bigger than me, it looked like half man and half goat/wolf.

Actually it looked pretty much like this image of Satyr:

I met it, and it gave me some shills, but not fear, altough the whole thing was a bit bizarre. I just faced the creature standing there, we didn't battle nor anything, I simply tried to stay.. confident so to speak.

The dream ended, and after I woke up I was no longer sick.. well, I was still weak, but after one more night of sleep everything was fine and dandy.

Thought I'd share. hugs

Re: CAN YOU RUN IN YOUR DREAM
I have no trouble running in my dreams. But I very rarely get to the destination. I usually forget what I am running towards or away from and the dream goes in a different direction.

I am very good at remembering my dreams if I go to bed sober.

Can't fly :( though.

Re: CAN YOU RUN IN YOUR DREAM
I can run, jump, and fly also.

One needs to remember to 'let things go' during normal waking hours.

We take life too seriously sometimes and also become deeply involved in our thoughts.

This leads to a heavy state of mind.

Try it out for yourself. Just remember to smile during the day. Keep a light attitude about things.

Your life will improve and you'll have better dreams as well.

It is because of fear. Fear is slowing you down. Running away from something without fear, just with the reason to get away from it wont slow you down and you can go faster.

I mostly float. I'm slightly back leaning off vertical, inches off the ground.
When I'm not floating I do a lot of blasting around like a rocket.

OP, what do you know about the Night Terrors? jerkitjerkitjerkit

So you are not afraid of tsunami's. You just know that you shouldnt be near them because they are dangerous. Thats good.

Yes, I can. And... fight and kill and fly and swim and ride dream horses into dream battles and fight entire dream armies. Yes, you can do it too.

Re: CAN YOU RUN IN YOUR DREAM
When I try to run I feel like I'm floating. I had many dreams that deal with transvection.
