"They are no longer worried, I think, about our economy being overwhelmed either by Europe writ large, the EU, or China somehow swallowing up every bit of innovation that exists in the world. This man's inability to ponder the plight of Americans, his inability to use any form of discourse, and his inept handling of everything on his plate is a demonstration of just how bad things really are! OH........mY..........God! They are soooooooooo fucked. |
my 2 cents User ID: 26646007 Canada 02/25/2013 05:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm so glad Joe says everything is okay. Now I can rush down to the bank and get a 2nd mortgage to buy that new boat I've always wanted. Then, since I'm so wealthy I can afford both a house AND a boat, I'll splurge on a nice vacation in the south of France. Patriotism is supporting your country always -- and your government when they deserve it. Because when you're worried it brings anxiety and fear, which than keeps you at home, rather than out spending money. People need to spend money and lots of it. They just need to spend real money and not credit. Once the economy crashed in 2008, everyone went into fear mode, especially the millionaires and billionaires, and started hording money and not spending it, which is bad. The side effect of those people not spending money means corporations don't need to hire more people, in fact they had to actually fire people to make up for the revenue being lost. This is all what started the failing economy catch22 of people not spending money, so no is hiring. I think people are starting to finally move out of that fear zone, and starting to spend money again, therefor jobs will increase, and more money will come into the economy. |
