COFFEE DOOM! | |

Whenever they all did drugs, they would take em lke candy, LOL. I prefer to find the sweet spot of each substance, where you feel the full effects, but yet your body isn't being OVERUN by the chemicals. A small amount of pure cocaine in a nasal spray bottle with distilled water goes a long way :) As for coffee, love it. However, I've been in the habit of drinking (1) Monster Energy drink per days lately. Extremely expensive for someone like me, but I enjoy it oh so much, and it makes my day oh so better :) I also LOVE yerba mate. Dr. Acula, have you tried Yerba Mate? If not, I HIGHLY suggest you give it a try. It has just as much caffeine as coffee, but it is alkaloid, unlike coffee which is acidic. It also has over 15 vitamins and minerals. It also has MORE anti-oxidants than green tea. It also has other mildly pain relieving and energizing compounds in it, along with certain compounds that balance the caffeine out, so you don't get jittery or anything like that. I suggest EVERYONE tries yerba mate. |

Means coffee prices are falling not rising. Doom off! Won't be falling long after the supply side dries up. They are also concerned about the prices they receive as producers. Besides, been to the store to buy coffee lately? Prices are way up. Real costs: roasting (add 5 baht, packing 5 baht, peaberry - I don't know, i just drink the stuff) Probably still under a dollar a kilo :) But yeah, it's the shipping costs... Good shit Thai coffee... It's a damn good system here, stops 'em growing opium - smart 'Royal' projects... If you are really curious, it's on my list of things to export (PM me!) - loads of plantations here in the north - It's 'robusta' here, not arabica. |

And if it cost $26 per pound, I would still buy it. It is unlike any other coffee I have ever had in my life. It flies off the shelves regularly. I also put 2/3 stick of grassfed, unsalted butter in my coffee each morning. Consider yourself lucky that you even got the chance to try this magical drink...a hundred years ago the common man did not even know what it was... |

It is not just the price that is fascinating, but the process of making as well. [link to www.flushnews.com] |
