I grew up in KC (Gladstone) but I'm in California now where it just rains.

In the 30 years I lived there, it never snowed like this! Stay in and off the roads, and stay safe.

I'm in KC too. The lightning was awesome! There doesn't seem to be as much snow as they were predicting. I hope they were wrong about the amounts.

Looking at the Accu Weather link it looks like the system is parked in place. It's going to be a long night out there.

Central Texas was passed up from this system(thank god)but we be getting the high winds,gonna step out in a minute and see if i can make it through a cig before the winds knock me down.

Its currently above freezing even though we still have about a 8 inches of snow left over from Thursday's storm, but the new snow doesn't seem to be accumulating much. I hope the temp stays up as long as possible, that could help.
