I think the market will close negative today. Ben speaking usually helps that and it feels like those times in 08-09 where we would open one direction but end at the other.

Italy is so fucked up. It's demographics are a disaster. Ditto Europe as a whole,actually. I think only one European country, Ireland, actually has a birth rate higher than it's death rate.I'm afraid neither Europeans or Americans are willing to face the reality of how bad the world's economy really is, and the hard things that need to be done. And I'm not even referring to austerity. If there's any austerity it should be for the corporate executives and share holders of these mega multinationals and too big to fail financial institutions.
