remember the opening scene of saving private ryan ?

they showed tom hanks & the american soldiers getting blasted to pieces before the flotilla doors even opened on the landing craft - hollywood titled this movie scene "omaha beach"

but in reality "omaha beach" had little resistance for the americans

the canadians landed on "juno beach" & faced the heaviest resistance and was well documented about being blasted to pieces as our flotilla doors were being opened

basically hollywood took the canadians scene at "juno beach" & changed it to american soldiers & titled it "omaha beach"
