Ok, not sure where to post this but I just saw a big white glowing ball streak down from the sky. NE Gilbert, AZ. It didn't look 'far away', it was HUGE, not sure how high it started from as I am outside and my view is looking out from my covered porch. So I only saw it for 5 seconds and then it disappeared. Didn't go behind anything, it just vanished. It definitely caught my attention! Was streaking down at an angle. Weird! Anyone else see it?

I never said it was a lens flare, though some claimed I would. It's a cosmic ray hit with CCD blooming. SOHO does not have vertical anti-blooming gates, thus horizontal blooming can occur:
