In a just world this cop would be put in prison for animal abuse not only for shooting it unjustly but leaving to writhe there in pain instead of finishing the job.

There was no charging whatsoever, the dog was protecting it's home from a clearly violent stranger. We have laws for loose dogs for a reason, animal control comes and hauls them away, cops don't show up for animal related issues like this and murder them in cold blood.

The dog never "Charged" him, whether or not it charged the mailman we will never know but since there is no mailman in sight I think it's safe to assume he doesn't exist or, at the very least, did the noble thing and left the dog alone and got on with his duties.

I don't understand why he didn't just call the spca or animal control. That's what they are there for.

Cops are crazy. Cops are shooting harmless dogs everyday.

That dog didn't show ANY aggression until he started to walk his land....the tucked tail and the fact he ran off showed he wasn't a threat.

However the owner should still be fined for not having the dog fenced or leashed....guy didn't even really seem to care his dog was killed either.

If/when society does finally collapse, the last person I would want to be is a cop.

Even what few good cops that are out there will be persecuted and targeted like the rest of these filth and it scares me to think what's going to happen to them.

It will truly be worse than a cop that gets sent to prison thinking about the horrors that await them.
