Of course, its easy to come down and get into the usual train of thought, but as soon as you realize it, get confident again. Visualize a great life.

You, need to fall on your knees and tell God your problems and ask him to have mercy. Repent of your sins and begin to give thanks for the good and wonderful things that you have, those wonderful things that you see are around you and in your life. Now if that's funny to you or a joke than what can anyone say! Your not listening. You want to hear what you want to hear. So, then you will remain the way that you are until you get worse. You want to do better, you want to feel better. So,then why don't you pray? Is prayer really, really so bad?

If you are on disability count it a blessing that you don't need to put up with all the BS of working. Consider moving to a better area of the country and enjoy life while you can.

If you've tried everything else it sounds like its time to try God. Get a kjv bible and start reading, nothing else is gonna be a solution.

all I can say is that I have been there and probably still am minus the poverty.

In a way, you are living the life of the old saints, who used all that for the greater glory of God.

I am in this situation. I feel as if i have nothing, and nobody. I've tried and tried to transcend it, to become happy and "better", and yet here I am, miserable.

However, one insight has twisted my mind, and shown me an aspect of existence, that I was unaware of...

I still have life... or more accurately... there is still life in me even without my consent.

I do not want to live, I do not want to experience suffering anymore, but some invisible force inside keeps breathing me. And despite my greatest efforts and genuine intent to die, this "presence" is still functioning with an unwavering persistence.

And now, as I let go my life, as I let go of all hope that I will ever be anything at all, my attention is turning toward this force that tirelessly keeps me alive... what is it?

If I want more than anything to be dead and yet I am still here then this "essence" must be unaffected by pain, misery and suffering... is it God, Oneness, Life... I don't know... but if it can trod on unscathed and unchanged then it seems only this can show me how to be happy.

Throw everything away. Throw away your thoughts. Throw away "I am this" or "I feel that". Throw away your life, you have nothing left to live for anyway.

And in that darkest hour your attention will automatically focus on this silent force that maintains you.

I hope one day to trust and follow only this, because everything else has failed me.

You are not alone in your experience.

Maybe one day this pain and suffering will drive us to enlightenment...
