re: what was referred to as the "offer that couldn't be refused" in the original thread predates every nobody and all nobodies; every somebody and all somebodies.

though somewhat hamstrung by this phrasing, let's say it can be refused and as human history has worn on is refused more often than not. many who accept the offer never have to verbalize it, but it is made manifest in them. still, the original thread asserted that it was an offer that a specific category of people could not refuse.

some in this category attempt to play the offer both ways. accept it for themselves, but manipulate and influence those who have refused it (and are thus easily swayed by custom, tradition, obligation — or anger, hatred, fear, etc) to get around the terms of the offer.

thus they believe they are beyond direct accountability, hiding behind the idea each according to his/her conscience. every time the offer is refused, the margin on the original offer narrows.

the offer predates humanity. very few humans over the course of history have accepted the offer on its own terms. many deny it, though all of science and religion attempts to define it. the offer is self-evident.

Are you serious? There is a disclaimer on the bottom of the main page of this site that takes all responsbility away from glp.i

That's not how the rules were written. There was very little that what you call "The Nobody" could be told or helped with.




He had to choose his own path without influence.



He was the object of a contest to tempt him into serving Evil.



In a previous time he was a most determined servant of God. He walked with God.. In a way they were like best friends.



Evil didn't like that and declared that in a different situation Evil could get "the nobody" to be wicked.



And so.. the Nobody had to make a choice on his own with no clues as to who he was previously.. or even what was going on this time.

He had to be unknowing of what he was a part of.


Don't worry.. he choose good.. to "do what's right".. again, in this
time... [happened about 50 years ago].



It hasn't been easy at all.. but as the puzzle has filled in since his original choice.. he's grown in knowledge and never once changed his mind about "doing what's right".



And I really mean it hasn't it hasn't been easy.. for a long time he didn't know who he was previously.. but many wicked ones did and they tried to make it very difficult for him to remain true to his choice.
