I love the justice department.
- 5 years in jail for 0.05 gram of weed.
- Collect rain water in Oregon and get sentenced for 1 month.
- In Florida, unmarried women get jail time / arrest / fined for parachuting on Sunday.
Etc...

You really need to commit a terrible crime before they put you in jail and even then you could be released due to procedural errors. It happens all the time. Last week a guy who killed a 14 year old girl, got released that way. Thanks for the info, but in my world that is an abuse of power as well.  I agree.
