Breaking: 2 Santa Cruz officers shot to death. Santa Cruz California

(02-26) 18:40 PST SANTA CRUZ -- Two Santa Cruz police officers were shot and killed Tuesday afternoon in running gunbattles with a wanted suspect, authorities said.
Police Chief Kevin Vogel confirmed that the officers had been killed while trying to arrest the suspect. The wanted man was also killed, Vogel said.
