Is there such thing as another dimension
My question is who came up with theories such as "ascension", "dimensions", activation of your DNA", "super human powers blah blah blah etc.

I was cruising around youtube and realised so many people are "awakening" and finding their innerself or in other words their higher self.
It is a fairly interesting topic but is this a new age religion? Do facts proven this sort of chaos does exist.

I found out scrolling and spotted tila tequila facebook page, for those who are not familiar with her she had a tv show . Shot at love ...anyways she talks about all this kind of stuff and refers herself to be from the bloodline of sirius. But we all know that woman is craze, cause she somehow became a lion to a dolphine and next min she will claim to be a dog..
Anyways my point is?
Where are the facts? Is there such thing?
And who believes in this stuff.. gypsy, light workers etc..

Thanks heaps

Re: Is there such thing as another dimension
Ok bro. Here it is. Levels of dinsity or dimensions. We are living a 3rd dimensional experience. What is that, everything is energy. The 3rd dimension is just one level of vibration. Just like octaves on a keybored. Vibration and energy is all that is, that's the illusion. We are consciousness. For something to exist, I has to have consciousness perceiving it or an aspect of it. We are one because we are part of the same conscious mind on the macro. Mostly on earth we (consciousness) are unconsciously co creating for the most part. There are higher levels of consciousness, thus higher levels of vibrational frequencys. Once you realize what you truly are and start letting go of your self limiting belief systems. Then the limitations start to fad away with the darkness that created them.

So. Here we are in the 3rd lvl of dinsity on a (planet) we call earth we see everything with a duality perspective consciousness because of the electro magnetic polar frequency of earth 2 polls,

Re: Is there such thing as another dimension
Dimensions in the sense that new age has used is based on science fiction stories, but a dimension is a direction, not a place. When one refers to a dimension other than the usual 4 of (x, y, z, t), this refers to a similar direction, right here in this place, that we are just not equipped to perceive, see. Just conceiving of this will twist your brain up.

On the other hand, if you refer to a different universe completely, you are then talking about theorized notions related to string theories and experimental astrophysics.

The gentleman above with his levels of consciousness has been influenced by too much new age, which seems to partly have the goal of leading people away from the Way, so as to keep people "enslaved" in the system. Don't fall for that trick!

Substitute 'new thought' for 'new age' when you search and you will be much better off IMO.

This gentleman is, working to free people from limitations, raising the vibrational frequency of earth. I'm not here to twist your mind. I'm here to enlighten it and remind you that its not your mind you should be using, it is your heart.

What would you like to know brother

Re: Is there such thing as another dimension
You should know that in terms of spirituality, "mind" includes brain, heart and soul, and is the place of all human experience. The confusion is in the translation, as english doesn't have the proper term.

The same applies to consciousness, where in spirituality there are 7 of them, but that is lost in translation and we in the west think "consciousness/subconsciousness" when we hear this term.

That is where new age authors get confused and then completely miss the point.

Lastly, when one hears someone go on about vibrations, smile and walk away. This person has been caught, and will attempt to spread this new-ager thought-virus.

It's not one thing or another.. its when your catagorize something that confuses you. You cannot put what this is into a box and say that's all.

It is what you make it, that is all. There is no good or bad in the end. It just is., love is what creates. So I chose love. :)

Re: Is there such thing as another dimension
Love is just another box, so is this idea of vibrations that came about with relatively recent scientific theories about the nature of matter. This would not be the bottom yet, still just an effect of matter, something occurring within something, by something, physical and dependent on conditions, see?

Anyway what I was trying to say is if you are reading about the esoteric notions behind spiritual practice, don't mistake mind and consciousness for the limited ideas of these that we have in the west and that new age authors have been erroneously using in their money-making book writing schemes

Re: Is there such thing as another dimension
There are multiple dimensions in space.

We have theories that imply there are multiple dimensions of "space" itself.

All the other "spiritual" aspects are "other theories".

But, Yes there are multiple dimensions in space. However they are only "portions of space" that humans "technically" are incapable of perceiving. Hence the "third dimension"; "In which we live in".

There are multiple plains of existence. To sum it all up:
Everything we see, hear and perceive are within the third dimension; Everything else we have theories of.

I doubt that whole universe scale dimensions exist myself, however it can easily be debated when questioning our own existence / reality.

So please continue to explore your curiosities while you exist. Thats what its all about.

Just don't expect that having the knowledge that multiple plains of existence is going to solve any circumstance within your life; Or explain any event in the past or future, without hundreds of corresponding articles proving that your "imaginary universe indeed exists";

Good luck:) I mean that in the highest of respects! Questions like these are asked very few and far in-between.

My question for you:
Why do you ask?

Re: Is there such thing as another dimension
here is another way of thinking.

The smallest size known is a quark.
The largest (our universe, which grows everyday) Due to our understanding of it.

Anything beyond that is in theory "another dimension" of time and space.

Ok.

So here is another point of view. If you look straight you are only able to see the refraction of light. Does that mean you are actually seeing everything in the room? or that you more simply put are only seeing everything in the room that refracts light "within the third dimension";

In sciences opinion we do not see everything; We do not know everything. So we continue to explore.

There is obviously smaller things than quarks. We just can't see them yet. ;)

You started belittling this thread with some scientific theories, that are still just theories, and then you go on to say people talking about vibrations are just crazy. See the contradiction here? Of course it is all vibrations, even science knows this as demonstrated by Einstein's famous equation E=MC^2 which is the conversion of matter to energy and energy to matter. So when someone talks about vibration, which is the vibrational state of energy, I would at least listen to what they have to say, as it does have some foundation in reality, which is energy.

A coordinate system is not a dimension, so when you speak of space, whether in the first, third, or ninth degree, you are referring to a coordinate system within the dimension of space. Space is a dimension, so is time, can you think of any others? They are out there :P

Re: Is there such thing as another dimension
There is some things humans can't see or hear, animals can. There are waves of light and sound that can be picked up by equipment, but we can't see or hear it.

Time changes went you go high in jets, and even higher the time changes a whole lot. They found that out years ago when jets were sent high up and their timing wasn't in sink with the ground.

Even in the Bible the prophet Elisha put his hand over a frightened helper because of an army coming, he could see after that there were an army of people on the hills that he could see before. That was because of the veil that we can't see. Elisha could because God gave him the power to do so.

I would say there are many thing in this life that we just can't see or explain but they are there, just out of our wave length, it could be a matter of just a timing thing, out of sink with us.

I don't worry about it, because it is just the way God made it and he will let us figure it out, in his on good time.

I am not impatient. Might as well be.

Check this out, pretty cool!

It walks you through what the theoretical 10 dimensions are, makes sense to me.

Has anyone meditated and heard scary voices surrounding you.
Has your body ever become paralyzed to the point you can't move. But yet you feel so light.
Has anyone started hallucinating and seeing "wind" or "air" or the room is moving or objects are not in a steady position. I've noticed everything is moving. ( I was not on drugs during that time. Very sober)

Has anyone
Been high and started seeing everything more clear. Like watching an avator movie. Very animated. (On pot)

This is why this topic interest me because im seeing things and hearing things.

Did I mention I was talking on the phone with ny brother discussing theories on the pyramid, etc.. our convo cut off.. and some scary voice interrupted. It was shaking, you couldn't hear properly cause it was shaky, very distant but sounded computerised or some sort of magnetic or spirtual being connecting.
Wanted to record it but it freaked me out and I hanged up.

Weird as it sounds but this is why I need answers

First of all, 99.9% of the New Age jargon is simply nonsense. It is nothing more than hearsay, hearwrite and readwrite of statements made by people with no Knowledge whatsoever.

There are three dimensions of space. And the conventional wisdom is that there is one dimension of time. Thus, four dimensions.

And the "New Age" people have speculated endlessly about going to a 5th dimension of a "higher self".

It is utter nonsense. They are going in the wrong direction. And there is no such thing as any "higher self". Every "self" is a 'lower' "self"; that is, a 3 dimensional 'curved space', dualistic consciousness extended in time by the consciousness of the 'thinker'.

Rather, the three dimensions of space and the one direction of time originate in a 2-dimensional 'flat space', non-dualistic consciousness which is both non-spatial (non-3 dimensional 'curved space', that is) and non-temporal (that is, time is bi-directional, as demonstrated by both Time Symmetrical Quantum Mechanics and Reverse Speech Analysis, in which information can actually be recorded coming backwards in time from the future.

In the Gospel of Thomas, Jesus describes in some detail the differences between the non-dualistic consciousness Created by God and the dualistic, 'fallen' consciousness of the "self" and the 'thinker'.

This is what I discuss in some detail on my website:

You do understand, do you not, that the use of the 'papal' "we" in this sentence means that you consider yourself Omniscient?

You do understand that, don't you?

You can speak for yourself.

But you cannot necessarily speak for anyone else; me, for example.

I have direct Knowledge of another dimension of consciousness. So did Jesus and the Buddha and J. Krishnamurti.

That Knowledge is part of the Teaching.

Something that is not generally known.

Michael
