What makes this even sadder is that these people will probably get away with it. Interesting and although not extremely highbrow, I think even this presentation is above what most of the public can absorb. It needs to be present in a better, introductory tutorial form to bring people up to speed. If I sent this to any of my friends or family (and they are not stupid people), but they they would click off after the first few minutes.

The last one wiped out the dinosaur world 65 million years ago and was probably due to a meteorite collision.

But the recent one has no natural causes. It is man made and rampant, eliminating three animal or plant species every hour.

Here is an idea of some of the species we have caused to go extinct, whether directly or indirectly.

1974

Japanese Sea Lion, commercial hunting for these along with habitat loss due to WWII did these seal lions in. There were a few sightings in the '60s, and a baby was caught in 1974.


1981

Last sighting of the green-blossom pearlymussel, an American mussel.


1983

Conondale Gastric-brooding Frog, the last one its kind died in captivity in a laboratory in 1983.


1984

The 24-rayed sunstar (heliaster solaris) is likely extinct.


The Black Spotted Damselfish (Azurina eupalama) likely becomes extinct due to climate change and overfishing.


1987

Dusky Seaside Sparrow, a native of the east coast of Florida, this species rapidly died out from DDT pesticide spaying and its habitat being taken over for use by NASA for the Kennedy Space Center.

The Golden Toad of Costa Rica becomes extinct, perhaps because of climate change.

Black-faced Honeycreeper, non-native species, particularly pigs, cats, and rats, have wreaked havoc on Hawaii's ecosystem over the last few centuries, and most likely contributed to the decline of this unique bird. After an unsuccessful effort to get the last few remaining birds to breed, the last bird died in 2004.

Baiji or Yangtze River Dolphin, Declared extinct in 2006, a video of what appeared to be a baiji dolphin was taken in 2007. The species is still considered "functionally extinct", meaning that if there is only one of a few old creatures alive, no new ones will be born.

The Liverpool Pigeon (Caloenas maculata) is thought to have become extinct.

Alaotra Grebe, this small diving duck lived in primarily in one lake in Madagascar until habitat loss and predation by carnivorous non-native fish species killed it off.


2011

Western Black Rhinoceros, a subspecies of the black rhino that lived mainly in Cameroon, the western black rhino was a victim of rampant poaching, even after protections were issued in the 1930s. Scientists searched for any signs in 2006 and came up empty, and it was offically declared extinct in 2011.


The Eastern Cougar is declared extinct.


2012

Pinta Island Tortoise, the last of his kind, Lonesome George died this weekend in his pen at a research facility. His exact age isn't known, but he was estimated to be over 100.

I am sorry to have posted and ran. There is a lot upevil in my life right now and I always on the move. I dont own a mobile phone for many reasons so I cant post whilst I am out.

My freinds to be honest I never took Chemtrails seriously until recently when I saw them above my house. I posted here a few weeks ago about that. I watched as circular pattern drop down through the sky. There was no doubt about it.
What I thought strange is the fact that I live in a relatively remote coastal town in NSW OZ.
