Red Korean Ginseng extract. Not the shitty cheap kind - instead the one that costs $100-$200 for a 240 gram bottle. Good for your immune system and gives energy without that horrid caffeine crash

raw guarana by radical health (heated versions like what's in energy drinks have methamphetamine effects). B vitamins (high quality live source like Quantum Nutrition) and Reishi is great for mood, longevity, and rejuvenation. Noni capsules also great for mood.

I have been taking Vit D for a while now, and while it made my blood levels adequate and I get fewer colds, I can't say it did much for my mood or energy. I did, however, just start B12 about 2 months ago, and it is AMAZING for energy. I am unbelievably motivated since starting the B12. I take 5000 mcg of the methylcobalamin form.

VERY interesting! I will check it out for sure!

Nothing better for SAMe for mood. Very expensive but also fantastic.

However, it will NOT increase your energy levels. Although, I suppose you will hear a bunch of anecdotal morons describing a typical placebo effect of boosted energy levels.

But it will truly lift your mood.

For energy levels you should look to your food sources first. Get your hemoglobin A1c and glucose levels in a low and healthy range.

Cover your deficiences. Check your hormone levels.

If all that is good and you still need something more. Go with a stimulant like caffeine. I like mine through green tea.

Still need more and don't want to get a prescription? Check out [link to www.xtend-life.com] through xtend-life. It works.

Re: Any supplement recommendations for mood and energy?
I swear this will take care of your energy and mood needs.

Healthforce Nutritionals Elixir of the Lake - It's a specific kind of blue-green algae that will do WONDERS for your body. I highly recommend you research that type of algae.

If that one is too expensive, then try E3Live, which is the same algae but less expensive. High quality still.

Other things to look into are certain herbs and nootropics with choline.

Piracetam and choline is a popular nootropic with lots of info, research, testimonials, and safety.

A good green superfood powder like Vitamineral Green or Tonic Alchemy will also boost your mood and energy in ways that caffeine can't compare to.

Me? I take all of the above, plus a few more herbs. I can honestly say that I have never felt better in my life. I am not tired when 2 o'clock comes around, my sleep is great, dreams are wonderful, and I don't need stimulants anymore to wake me up.

If you do need stimulants though, Yerba Mate is a great alternative to coffee.

Piracetam is fantastic. However, it will not improve mood nor improve energy. It will most likely boost your motivation and you will feel the need to want to do something, as your mind will be working harder.

There seem to be so much out there and it is hard to weed through all the claims of what they may or may not do. Does anyone here have any experience with a supplement that helps maintain a happy mood and boost in energy?

Thanks so much in advance!

B-12 and or B complex. Brain Food.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30120084

brain food is also proper fatty acids and carb balance… I went low carb once and I had troubles functioning. It did however help the hyperinsulinism which never came back after 2 months of super low carb but my energy was at the bottom of the bucket.

Re: Any supplement recommendations for mood and energy?
i sit outside at noon and uncover as much skin as possible for the sunny half of the year. just 10 minutes or so. i take D the rest of the year. for me, that is the most important.

many people don't get enough iodine in their diets, and so their thyroids/cellular energy is low. eat fish a couple times a week, or kelp.

good basic diet info:
