I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that that contraption does not invert gravity.

Re: Anyone use a GRAVITY INVERSION TABLE?
i had back surgery in 2009. a fusion of L5/S1.

i still had some residual pain in my left leg.

two things have helped it. foam rolling and inversion.

i looked at the Teeter Hangups inversion table. its the best. but it was too expensive (300$)

i settled on a 100 dollar table from kmart.

i couldnt be happier with the results.

i eased into it. not doing full inversion until after a few days. then for only a couple minutes at a time.

now i do it 3 times a day for about 5 mins each time.

i even do 10 upside down sit-ups each time.

I do! I love it. My parents bought it for me, it's very nice and the natural traction does wonders for my back injury. Highly recommend it to anyone with back or neck problems!

Re: Anyone use a GRAVITY INVERSION TABLE?
They are excellent for people with back/neck pain caused by disc problems

Just start slow and gradually build up your angle of declination and time you stay inverted over a few weeks.

The few people I've known that didn't like them are the ones who jumped right in going fully inverted for >10 minutes without building up to it first

Go slow and you'll see some amazing benefits from the natural decompression of your spine

Good luck :)

Re: Anyone use a GRAVITY INVERSION TABLE?
I have one for years now.
Works great in case of back pain.
First I take a painkiller and a muscle relaxant.
Then wait half an hour.
Then use this contraption.
Works great.

Yes they are very good. I bought mine at a chain sporting goods store for $79. I had to assemble it myself. It is a great stretch. It is great for posture. And it feels really good. I do not have mine totally vertical. I would highly recommend an inversion table.

i think it can increase height, thats why i bought mine.. not by much though, and u have to use it daily to maintain the height increase but I noticed a 1/2 inch to 1 inch increase in height from hanging for 30 minutes a day

Re: Anyone use a GRAVITY INVERSION TABLE?
I've had my inversion device for over 20 years. I don't use it much any more, because my wife doesn't like it in the house. Carrying it down to the shop after every use is a pain. It does help my back. I usually rock up and down to decompress my back. When I first got it, I got a minor muscular ache after use. After your back gets used to the strech you will love it. If you just hang upside down, all the blood goes to your head, so I don't do that. Make sure you have the clamp adjusted correctly for your legs, and the height adjusted for you. The hieghth adjustment may take some trial and error, so have a helper standing by until you get it right.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

I cant see why you would need to pay $300 when you can get the same thing for $130.

All you are doing is hanging upside down.

got mine from Craigslist... heavy duty padding on the bed, ankle cuff with foam padding as well... this one would cost way more than $300 new like the Tetter's, but I got mine from Criag's List for $80 bucks!!! Would not sell it for $300... this is staying here!!!!
