If its sunlight, then it would stick around for sometime. Sunlight doesn't appear for a minute or two then disappear. The sunlight would slowly be able to come in and slowly fade away. Watch before the light appears. It slowly fades in. Y'all are cray

Stick around for sometime? The light movement depend on the distance the window is from the surface of reflection/how large the window is and soooo many other factors. You can't just say its not moving like sunlight. The span of time in those images is about 30 minutes and the distance it moves is about 6-7 feet. How is that not plausible?

Re: POPE webcam: DEBUNKED
The rate at which the light moves across the room is related to the size of the windows through which the sun is passing. I see people claiming that it is impossible for the sunlight to pass that quickly and stating that it takes "15 minutes." There is no recorded time it takes sunlight to pass. It's dependent on many things: time of year, time of day window size etc. the chances of that being the sun are so much greater than an apparition. All it will take is another day before we know. Unless the window is covered

No doubt it is the sun shining through the window. I would be arrogant to be so sure of that, and if incorrect, ignorant to believe it.

That is undeniable. The sun can still form apparitions. That is what it looks like to me, and to a lot of others. Find out tomorrow! Or this thread was a waste of time. I think it was the sun but this is an apparition.

Re: POPE webcam: DEBUNKED
I'm not one to start a fight with Chuck Norris but if you look at the OP and look at the pictures that are taken every 2 minutes. The sun would have to move across the entire sky. So its not the sun. It could be as someone else (who read the entire thread) said, someone moving a light source to decrease reflection in the web cam.
Quoting: RayGun

I have read the whole thread up and to this point. Even the OP him/herself admitted that it looked like it was probably the sun moving across the room.
Then the next post said it was going viral and the OP threw that out the window and decided to sell t-shirts.
You can tell its the sun as it moves because the light even reflects on things above the "pope ghost".

OP, I hope you are kidding about cashing in. The can has copyright and you know how the Vatican loves its money.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22439663

hey i might even send a shot of what the OP has said bout selling t-shirts to the vatican ,see what they say ,bet they sue him
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35160978

You guys are unreal! its a damn joke! t-shirts....really? cmon!
Quoting: ItSeesThroughEyes

Wow, I did mentioned that I hoped you were kidding. Still if the church wanted to go after you for it they could, you have to have permission to alter something that is copyrighted.
In reality, I doubt anyone of any real importance will see them so I was just joking.
What I was really looking to point out was that you had said that it probably was the sun, debunking your own thread.

Quoting: Dr. Charles Norris

I would say that is the more realistic and appropriate observation but either way, you will let us know tomorrow. :) It is either the sun, or it is not the sun, but we have the inverted picture which is evidence of something. So you tell me, is it all bs, is there an apparition and if so, is it a reflection of the sun which is an energy source, or is the energy source from within the room?

I'm proud of you OP...

you put on your big boy pants and manned up!

I found it funny that someone took your screenshots and photo shop'd yellow around the sunlight to make it look more like an angel and then loaded it up on YouTube....

This is why I hang out on GLP!

Not the sun made a shape. The sun is an energy source. There has to be a source of energy in order for an apparition to take form. So I guess, yeah... the sun did make a shape...in a way... :P

In this next image, you can easily see that it is either sunlight falling on the railing, or a translucent object. The railing can be seen through the apparition.

it is obviously light reflecting through a window.....

the reason it is moving gradually to the right is obvious....

just like the sun travels....

you guys have never seen light shine through a window and move across the room before?

It's a bandwidth issue...

live feed is very expensive versus posting a new picture every few minutes cost next to nothing...

Quoting: bausse

One of the more intelligent comments! I personally don't know what it is. I accept it could be the sun or some other trick of the light, but regardless of that it is an unusual phenomenon to appear like a figure in this way, especially when inverted. I would have thought, as well, that a sun beam would expand outwards from the source (a window)not concentrate inwards like this. and it DOES seem to move fast, although I think there are plausible explanations for this from what I read. I'm not a photography expert and maybe it IS possible.

In any case, I can't help feeling that some of the vehement debunkers have a vested interested in debunking this out of hatred for institutional catholic church, of which I'm not a member, by the way, although I am a Christian. Maybe there is trolling going on, it smells a bit like that....

Well, thats the kind of stuff needed to prepare the world for a ressurection of JP II.
Lots of people seen this, spread word, be probably on TV soon.
So if there would be a resssurection, lots of people who might would have question it are silenced because of this supposely miracle. And if any doubters after resurrection, then there is still BlueBeam to put fancy things in the sky....

Weather at the Vatican sunny and 10 degrees.
