Plant protected by anti-aircraft missiles The images show signs of activity at the Arak plant, located 150 miles south-west of Tehran, including a cloud of steam that indicates heavy-water production. [link to www.ynetnews.com] Mark Fitzpatrick, a former US State Department official told the British newspaper that Arak could be part of a process that might trigger Western strikes on Iran. “Some think Israel’s red line for military action is before Arak comes online," he said. "The option of a military strike on an operating reactor would present enormous complications because of the radiation that would be spread,” he warned. IAEA inspectors have been trying to visit the facility since August 2011 and Iran has refused repeated requests for information about the site. They produce the "Saturday Night Specials" of nuclear technology. Then when it goes bang in their faces they try to "save face" by blaming Israel or the USA. Fucking foolish amateurs. They will probably kill us all with their (and North Korea's) incompetence |

The Telegraph can disclose details of activity at a heavily-guarded Iranian facility from which international inspectors have been barred for 18 months. The images, taken earlier this month, show that Iran has activated the Arak heavy-water production plant. [link to www.telegraph.co.uk] |

Very strange Quoting: Limpan A study by the Iran Ministry of Science found there sites were less prone to 'accidents' when flanked by good air defences. I don't think so, he's up there with the others laying low, vying with those who you've traded your life to to bless your soul, |

Very strange Quoting: Limpan Yeah wont do much good against cruise missiles and stealth bombers Isn't that part of the original building code. The White House didn't originally come with air defense systems. Considering who Iran's enemies are no use using something from last century. Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, ect is pretty good incentive not to be defenseless. The US lost it's only chance when they sent Saddam in. Have to wonder if the US just gave Israel the plans for the bomb in hindsight and there was only a patsy rather than a spy. If attacking them was such a sure thing it would have been done a decade ago. I notice air-craft strikes are quietly being taken off the table. Israel already proved they will go after suspected nuclear plants, now there is a real one in plain site they just let it keep working like it should. Not real consistent in their action/reaction pattern. One form of defense would be an EMP let off so far above the plant that it was a few km from affecting ground equipment, that would certainly fuck up anything coming in if the airwaves were flooded right after that with other countermeasures. |
