Just curious. God bless. No, I honestly don't think there is a limit.....as long as the person is honestly repentant in his/her heart. It does not matter how many times you fall down, what matters is that you keep getting back up again. Never give up, and hang on tight. :hand268568: |

He doesn't do it begrudgingly, He loves to forgive us because He loves us. In the parable of the Prodigal Son, the father RAN to his son when he saw him. He didn't just stand there waiting, and asking him a million questions, thinking about whether or not he would forgive his son.......he RAN to him, threw his arms around him and threw a giant party! LOL! That's how much our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us. He loves to forgive us........all we have to do is realize where we went wrong, humble ourselves and come home again. :the544: |

I ask because everytime I start to get weak I think of this verse in Hebrews, that sounds like there might be a limit. But, I'm no bible expert...However this verse scares me a little. 26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. |

Just follow your intuitions. Do not worry, relax and enjoy 'HIS' absolute love. All 'HE' wants is a VERY VERY little step forward. Just to stop falling down the black hole is relatively a step forward. Listen to the words of the songs; they are all messages. Your favourite ones are messages to YOU. 'HE' put you in your mess to perfect your soul!!!! In order to make you a master of yourself. And, if 'HE' put you in then 'HE' WILL take you out!!! You were ALL gods, now you have become God of gods, but do not confuse yourselves with the CREATOR of ALL that was, ALL that is and ALL that ever will be. love Stephen X Last Edited by completejigsaw on 02/27/2013 08:51 AM |

Well, let's just use this example. Say a person turns their life over to the Lord, and continues to visit a prostitute every Saturday night in secret...his heart has not changed one bit as he continues living the same way he did before not giving a crap about what God thinks. As long as nobody finds out, he thinks he's ok and really doesn't care. Then another person stops visiting a prostitute on saturday nights and tries his best to do the right thing when he turns his life over to the Lord. One night he falls into temptation and weakness and goes to see her. When he gets home, he is consumed by grief, guilt and shame. He asks the Lord for forgiveness and does everything possible to never go back to see her again. Do you see the difference? |

completejigsaw User ID: 34767651 United Kingdom 02/27/2013 08:57 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Lisa*Lisa I do not like the prostitute analogy. If the down and outs are 'HIS' most beloved children, at this time, then that also means the prostitutes and I am sure you know Jesus's experience. If people were not to go then they would also suffer, at this time. Concentrate on giving more than you take. If you know the expression 'quid quo pro' then people assume that the bargain that you have come to is equally good for each side BUT.. In numerology where A=1, B=2 etc, then quid =51 and pro=49, 51+49=100 the whole. It is saying always give more than you get!!! Bye Last Edited by completejigsaw on 02/27/2013 09:01 AM |

Thank you =) We will all continue to sin, atleast to some degree. The key is the heart condition of a person, one who really tries to do the right thing and is repentant when he/she screws up. As the Apostle Paul said "wretched man that I am" in Romans chapter 7. We will continue to struggle with sin as long as we are living in this fallen state of the flesh. They key word there is "Wrestle" or "Struggle" as in fighting against it as much as a person is able, and praying for help, wisdom and guidance. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 11312644 United States 02/27/2013 09:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Lisa, I agree with the analogy with the prostitute it is clear and good. But we don't choose to do true good because of our heart, but rather the leading of the Holy Spirit in us. If the Holy Spirit was to leave us, (which it would not leave a saved person) we would be left with our fallen nature only. That nature is not good.... Jesus said this, their is none good but God.... So when a saved person falls, trips into sin. That person was following their nature and ignoring the Holy Spirit. I like 1 Peter 1:16, perfection in Heaven only, but less and less following our nature, and more and more following the Holy Spirt.... So It is Gods work through our lives, He gets the credit, and the Glory... |

The reptilians cut grooves into sections of concrete pavement. When our tires roll over the grooves, vibrations occur in the tread and air within the tire. These specific sound frequencies radiating from the tires alters our DNA. It's time to wake up and open your ears. |

I think eventually the heart just grows stone cold. That's why it's so important to stay close to Him as much as we can. |
