Let me be more clear: AMERICA CALLS THESE IMMIGRANTS "CRIMINALS" SIMPLY BY THE FACT THAT THEY ARE ILLEGALLY PRESENT IN US BORDERS.

Now you'll say "but some of them were incarcerated for criminal acts! There are criminals being released to the streets!". Sure, there will be some individuals who were picked up for crimes and discovered to be illegal. But to paste the criminal behavior of a small subset of a group onto the whole group is a FALLACY. The individuals released from detention facilities are not criminals. They are family and community members. They are friends and colleagues. Many were put there for a broken tail light and no license. AND THEY ALL HAVE ANKLE-STRAP MONITORING DEVICES. This is the US GOVT we're talking about. Do you really think they're just going to let a bunch of people they arbitrarily presume guilty just... Walk out the door? Hell no, you fool!

Point number 2: as much as you want to say the sequester is really just a slowing of the rate of growth of our economy, you cannot deny that MONEY IS ABOUT TO BE CUT FROM NEARLY EVERY GOVERNMENT PROGRAM. Much of the burden will fall on our jail system, a system already stretching its budget thin due to years of defunding in the face of corporate interest pushing for privatization (if you don't believe that, you're not a very good conspiracy theorist!)

So let's think for a second about what happens when a massive incarceration system with a low operating budget is fucked (anally) and forced to take a significant cut. You can't cut employee pay without throwing the media into a fucking shitstorm uproar. You can't scale back quality of living conditions without getting international civil liberties group crawling up your already less-than-puckered asshole. And you can't wish the problem away without mass-graves (bad fuck idea). What do you have left? I'll give you one guess.

The answer is LAYOFFS. I can just about guarantee we would have seen a MASSIVE employee layoff in the DHS's incarceration divisions had they not implemented this release system. You wanna talk about a worst-case scenario? How about no money to pay the cooks in the cafeteria, the labor unloading trucks inbound, or the GUARDS in the CELL BLOCKS. And then the plumbing breaks, or the power goes out, and SUDDENLY, THESE ARBITRARILY "GUILTY" IMMIGRANTS ARE LIVING IN HELL-CRUISE 2013 CONDITIONS.
