If He practiced what He preached, then by all means, He should have been married. I don't know if the DaVinci Code is at all correct, but Christ being married is certainly not a game changer for me. If anything, it provides me even more conviction in my beliefs. Perhaps he was a eunich like others of his time, but in His case by choice? So that He would be more free to go about His Father's work? Even Paul talked about this when he was discussing marriage and the rules of marriage and divorce. If by Eunuch you mean a celibate man, then I would assume that is the understanding by a majority of Christians today. It is hard to say, because the DaVinci Code brings up several good points, and when you couple that with the fact that early Christian priests were allowed to marry, it's hard not to wonder if Jesus was in fact married - and they chose to take that point out of the bible at the Council of Nicaea. Yes, celibate. I suppose any thing is possible. Wasn't it true in Jewish culture at that time that for a man to not marry, it was considered a sin? I thought I remembered reading something about that once.
