This whole manufacture problem is rooted in the Republican philosophy of obstruction. Having failed in their attempt to obstruct Obama into being a one term President, false pride is forcing them to continue in that vein by hoping America blames Obama for their pain in 2014 but the peoples memory is quite long these days. Americans are sick and tired of this bullshit by Republicans; the obstruction, the manufactured crisis,the blame game ALL to keep taxes from rising on the top 1% and to win the White house since voter suppression as a miserable FAIL along with Citizens United. The Republican party is a proto fascist party and Blacks, Whites and Hispanics would be FOOLS to hand in their guns for Beyonce tickets.

That was the point of sequester it was supposed to be used as a brake by putting in cuts that each sides opponent doesn't want. Fear of the political toll from constituent outrage was supposed to force both sides to avoid sequester. Lets not forget however that the whole thing is borne out of Republicans attempt and failure to delegitimize the Obama presidency.
