Report Copyright Violation | Many people believe that the star that falls to Earth called Wormwood in the Book of Revelation is an asteroid, comet or a dwarf star/red planet. This is NOT how Scripture speaks of stars and Wormwood. The Book of Chazon (Revelation, literally meaning Vision or Divine Insight) is very symbolic, but also has literal meanings. Star in Scripture also has the meaning of an angel/fallen angel/unclean spirit. Wormwood is used to describe a poison, or that which defiles the spirit.
