Our country is ruled by the northeast and west coast. Everyone else doesn't matter. The only vote that matters is one that supports secession. Voting Libertarian is like trying to cure AIDS with tylenol

Everyone is too far gone at this point.
The wealthy already have most of the assets. Libertarianism at this point would just be a feudal system on the local level. I believe in the idea and thought it was the least offensive of our choices but the deck is stacked against most at this point in time to go back.

Re: Why do you Americans dont vote Libertarian?
It isn't plausible because it doesn't take into account greed. It assumes people (and businesses) will do the right thing for the right reasons without profit motives driving their choices.

Besides - other than Somalia - can you name *one* successful, productive libertarian society? Anywhere?

We can't teach basic reading writing and arithmetic. Principled political philosophy is out of the question. Also how do you turn people against santa clause. The US gov't plays the role of daddy to half the country. Why would they vote against more free stuff?

People don't vote based off of what makes sense, they vote for who they are told to vote for. That and rigged elections make it seem like the people want this fascism

I voted Libertarian last election, and I believe that if all the people who had voted for Paul had shifted their votes to Johnson, that they would have recieved a lot more of a percentage than they did.

some of us have been voting libertarian for years.

we're at the "make fun of us" level. next they'll fight us, then we win. well, if Gandhi was right, that's the way it'll work.

I don't give a shit what you do with your own life, whether you make it a success or a failure, that is the outcome of the choices you make, but please take responsibility for yourself and don't make ME pay for YOUR choices and we're all good.

What a smart guy! Thanks for the shout out. Its interesting that people overseas are starting to notice the Libertarian Party. I believe we can roll back the clock to 1776 America, minus the slaves and egregious civil rights violations that our founders knew we would have to buff out.5a

Re: Why do you Americans dont vote Libertarian?
simple human nature. people stick to what they are used to even when very painful. only when mass consciousness takes over will a majority switch quickly in a big way.

we ARE close to the tipping point. obummer acting like a god and dictator choosing who lives and dies and trying to disarm the American people by the tens of millions is waking a lot of citizens up.

however, our elections have been stolen for many years, and the left/right paradyme is just a farce. more people really need to wake up to that reality before there is any real change.

The problem is the libtards are running the schools and the media. They teach homo things and masturbation. They have removed the greatness of our founding and promote socialism and entitlement mentality instead.

There are people trying to change things though, I just wonder if it can be done in time.
