Gun stores forced to close ?

Being off from work today, I thought it a good time to hit the gun stores in the area today in hopes of finding some needed items. What I found, was not what any of us needed.

Visiting a total of four stores in a thirty mile radius of home, I find all four stores were closed and not open for business. Two of the stores had chains and padlocks on the outside doors, one of the stores had no merchandise inside that I could see. All of these stores are very old, local established businesses that have been around for many years. After returning home, I called all of them. Three had a message saying they would be closed until further notice, one had an out of service message.

I called another store in a very nearby city, no answer! Decided to drive over and see what was up. The only car in the parking lot was a black Lincoln Navigator with smoked windows, and no tags.

Really feeling spooked! Can anyone explain?
