Lisa, my dear child, you have a whimsical childlike belief in your faith.
Jesus was God in the flesh while He was here, but He is now in heaven sitting on the throne, and He is coming back to judge the world.

Jesus taught us the obvious things -
That the kingdom of heaven is within us (not out there).
That God is with us always (not out there)
“Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21)
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).
Jesus also taught us that we are to love God with all our mind, heart, and soul. For this is the greatest commandment. If the kingdom of heaven is within us (where God is), then we must FIRST LOOK WITHIN OURSELVES.
THAT is the simple Truth of the Gospel; from Jesus' mouth.
This belief that god is sitting on a throne in heaven is a childlike belief, and it is astonishing that an adult would ascribe to such a belief.
It directly contradicts what Jesus taught us.
