So you just worded it wrong? You feel bad because you gave the enemy something to call you out on?
So following Jesus example does not matter?
It is his free pass into heaven that saves you but sends me to hell?
I used to believe that way too.

You might be surprised to know that I don't belong to, or attend any church either. But, I did not throw the Bible and Jesus away with the church. You have to separate the baby from the bath water. And, there are some very good christian churches out there. Actually I guess that is something we agree on. I looked for a church that I believed was following the narrow path, but gave up after several disappointments. I do go when I am at home visiting my mother. I just believe that they distorted Jesus life and example. He came to show us the way, I believe he was telling us that we didn't need the church, that god was with us and not something outside of us to worship. I see Jesus as a brother and mentor.
