Re: So, You Think Jesus Can't Save You? Not Good Enough For Him?
All this speak of hellfire and damnation and inciting fear in others.

it is only through love and compassion and empathy that we can witness to others, not through fear. Those who live in fear and anger are already in 'hell'.

You do not know God.

The trials and tribulations will be great. It is the times as before the flood. There are only two options as the wheat is separated from the chaff. You either accept the Kingdom of the one true God through his Son Jesus Christ or you will fall victim to the kingdom of satan or be beheaded. If all he is consists of lies and losses then guess what he has for you. The mind will be tormented as a disembodied demon that died in the flood attempts to overtake your flesh and cause you to fall down take the mark and worship the halfman/half beast sphinx image.

Please get ready for the coming of the Son of Man.

I do know God. You know little about me or my testimony. There are few Christian brothers and sisters on here who do. This last generation is the evil generation Christ spoke of. Why? Simply it is because they reject his calling and eternal love. These are the endtimes and unfortunately the perspective of the lukewarm and unsaved is such that the only love they know is the love in pursuits of the flesh. If you do not prepare for the coming of the Son of Man, then you will be in a greater position of fear and dread. Read Revelation 6 and then 7 to see what the collective mind will see when he appears. This is the time of the three days of darkness as consistent with the Son of Man descending into hell and the Sign of Jonah with three days in the dark belly of a whale.

The karmic debts one aquires through unjust actions can only be rectified by walking a higher path. This is the greatest deception within the Christian faith. Jesus died for truth and your bad karma will not go away because a master comes into the world. Stop reading the watered down versions of his teachings. Buddha offered a complete teaching and so did esus. That dark church in Rome make the teaching fear based and now we have 1.2 billion christians following beliefs that have been modified by Rome.

"This last generation is the evil generation" ... "These are the end times" ...

Riight. They've been saying that for more than a thousand years, dude.

You sound EXACTLY like someone I knew, who I crossed out of my life. He was a fervent bible thumper, always casting judgment, and hell fire damnation on those who didn't believe as he believed.

He killed himself 2 years ago; died of chronic alcoholism. Turns out he was embezzling money from his aunt who had alzheimers.

Anyone who professes to fervently know God while casting judgment on others for not believing as they do IS the hypocrite the Jesus warned us about.

I'm not so much sorry for what I said as I am the way it came out. I know what I meant but it should not have been said merely because it was so easy to pounce upon, thus given footing to the enemy (I am referring to my "fly on the wall" comment).

Sometimes my fingers type faster than my brain engages.

As far as the rest of your comment, yes we embrace different beliefs.

Lisa*Lisa, thank you.
Just one thing. He will not be called ´Jesus´, for how could He? By doing that He is cutting himself off from so many. He is also outside of the church, both being above and below, for His function has to be to unite all.
The time is VERY close and that is why the Pope resigned. It will be disclosed, I believe, before the election of the next Pope.
Please tell everyone that the world has changed. The day before yesterday I travelled to Argentina and there were NO CRUSHES to get on and off the plane!!! Everyone was saying, áfter you´!!! When the plane arrived the air crew had to usher the passengers off because they were being so slow!
In the media the fear has gone and has been replaced by LOVE!
Listen to the words of the songs, for they are messages for these times.
Thank Godness
Believe in ´HIM´as ´HE´believes in you
Bless you
Stephen

Well, that's partly right, we don't need the church and God is with us when we ask Him to come into our lives and forgive us of our sins. That's true.......

When we are baptized with the Holy Spirit then God's spirit does dwell within us. That is true.

But, we are to worship God as He is divine, almighty and Holy. The Bible teaches us what we need to know about Him and how to live a life that is acceptable to Him.

Jesus is very much more then a mentor, He was God in the flesh and He came here to pave the way to heaven for us humans. He died so that we can live eternally. He is our God.

I had to stop by this because I have not been certain. I have wondered what comes first. Heart or the prayer. Can we pray to God and then He will give us a heart for Him ?. Or may be one who not already has a heart for Him, would not even bother to begin praying?.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35339902

Interesting question, and I think it really comes down to a persons intent. If you're praying to win the lotto and become rich, then you don't have a heart for Him, but a heart only for yourself.

If you're praying for guidance and to get to know God, then you have a heart for Him.

Does that make any sense?

hf
 Quoting: Lisa*Lisa

Thank you so much. Yes somehow.

But if a person pray to God for whatever reason, at least that person hope there is a God. Wouldn't God then in some way let him/her know that he is real, and thus make them interested at least. After a while this could inspire them to pray for more understanding, which God of course would impart to them. If this would lead to the belief in Jesus and the need for repentence and salvation, is dependent upon if they will accept that God gives them a new heart for it, as I see it.

From His standpoint and His rightousness and justice, I believe He want to try every possibility even if He knows in advance that it may be impossible that they will accept His gift.

I remember in my teens I prayed to God for the wisdom of Solomon. He woke me up years later one night and He said, The wisdom of Solomon will not be replicated. Pray for my love. You see what he values? This is why the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. To find his love is to go past the fear and embrace the true light. The lies of this flesh flee God and over time when you get to know him through his Son the meaning of worship truly changes to warmth, love and understanding.

Very judgmental of you to call people serpents, false and having "no ability" to discern.

Very very judgmental.
