What denomination church did you attend?
Quoting: Lisa*Lisa Baptist Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22439663 I love my baptist brothers and sisters, but I would probably not feel comfortable in a baptist church. If I had to go somewhere, it would probably be an independent church or maybe even methodist. I dont' do well with the "list of rules" and this and that. Do you read the bible and pray, meaning have your own personal relationship with Jesus? Quoting: Lisa*Lisa I've only ever been to one Baptist church, and I really enjoyed it there. It is a small country church and I was very involved. We did things for the elderly of the community, and for the families who needed help with bills and food. I was very active in the woman's group, we did bible studies and taught the youth and little children. It was very much the idea of being a good steward like Jesus. Then I moved and got more into Pentecostal because there seemed to be more spirit involved. All the churches I went to after leaving home cared more about the core members and building new buildings. You could try to become a member of their "family" but I felt like the true life of Christ was missing. I'm not sure you would call it praying, I ponder as it says Mary did all the time, like when I am doing my house chores and cooking. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22439663 Sounds like that baptist church was a wonderful place! I'd love to find one like that close to where i live. They are out there, just have to dig and turn over alot of rocks. I might start looking again. Would you ever consider finding another christian church like that one you attended back home?
