for the record though and correct me if im wrong , where did jesus ever say he was gods only son/child.
its been in the back of my mind for quite a while
i guess i can see where your coming from tough , with all the would be messiahs, "nobodies" or assorted mythological title claiming persons on this site

I don't know. I never read the bible.

I just thought it fascinating from an observational point. Not many people get to experience the thoughts of these kind of people like we get to here on GLP. Someone could do an incredible case study just by studying some of the self-proclaimed here on GLP. It is a wealth of information and pattern recognition and symptoms of this psychological 'issue'.

This is the whole problem, because without me getting all "Bible" and "Religious" here, it clearly states in the Bible Matthew 24:5

For many shall come in my name, saying, "I am Christ" and shall deceive many.
<quote>

........................................................
Uh..no..Jesus says many will come in HIS name and say correctly that HE is the Christ..and they shall deceive many. This is false Christian leaders..hirelings well paid to preach that rapture theory, well paid to preach carnal antichrist Israel as the "chosen of God".. instead of it's real Biblical identification..the beast of Revelation.

This poster show he has the the "mark" of the beast..a programmed mindset enslaving him to a world viewpoint that repeats the lies of a false prophet system of new lost sheep. There are so many of such lies..don't be part of the 2/3 who are cut off. Come out of organized religion..it is a loaf FULLY leavened.

I stand corrected, I was quoting from the Bible, excuse my stupidity there.

Now then, what's your excuse?

oh and ps. I am of no religion and do not go to church.

pps. I am female.

The real reincarnation of Jesus will have to come up with some evidence, otherwise it is not possible to see the difference between real one and the false messiahs, and hopefully he has a plan that can save us all.

Re: The Messiah Complex and Jerusalem Syndrome
It is the function of the subconscious mind to draw the blueprint for aspiration,
the function of the conscious mind to name it and build it,
and the function of the hierarchy to limit it or tear it down.

Id,
Ego,
Superego,
in the language of one complex builder.

No one function has the corner on delusion or reality.

You can determine what level your mind currently occupies by what function you are performing.

Interesting subject....

I wonder what makes people become like this. Is it a desire to have more self worth or self respect? Is it a temporary thing or do these people remain this way forever? Is it just a phase?

The Jerusalem Complex is reported to leave the victims once they leave the area...... not sure about the Messiah Complex as it is a mental illness.

When I was reading that article about Jerusalem Syndrome, it feels like the energy of the experience is so overwhelming it settles within the psyche, and the person attaches their thought patterns to it, making it a source of action.

they say their chief is guilty of the worst shames of this world and their too most of all...
and they dont pay to him the security for their beliefs..

do you trust a word they say ?

its exactly the therapy for the victims of the sects !

These are human beings, with families, that also have wants and needs and that love, just like you do. They are trapped and ensnared in things that they never knew existed and by the time they learned, it was too late. Many of these people were born into families where they have been abused and/or subjected to mind control since early childhood. All practitioners of the occult suffer from soul fragmentation. After participation in their first initiation, their soul is fragmented and they aren’t quite the same person as they were before that procedure. After each ritual less and less of the original soul remains and more and more of the enemy takes hold upon them.

Performing Miracles would do him NO good whatsoever.

After he performed ANY number of Miracles, he would then have to open his mouth and say something.

And, if he said anything contradicting the SATANIC lies and errors of Christian theology, he would then be accused by every IDIOT Christian theologian and every NITWIT Christian on the face of the planet of being "the anti-Christ".

It was the church officials & emperors who sought to portray Jesus as the one and only 'God' and thus to create separation and deny the masses from acknowledging their own divine origins & spiritual nature. By creating this separation or illusion, those who held power sought to create an environment where the uninformed masses would exhibit blind trust and complete obedience to the church (and thus the ruling parties) who conveniently presented themselves as the intermediary between the physical flesh and the divine.

No true spiritual leader/guru/master would ever tell you that he/she was more important or more special than any other soul and if you ever come across one who says or implies such a thing, you can be certain that he/she is a charlatan and/or being led by his/her ego an thus deceived and not to be looked upon for guidance or inspiration.

My rule of thumb is never trust anyone who does not view you as being his/her equal. If someone thinks they are better than you then you can be certain they do not have your best interests are heart.
 Quoting: ANHEDONIC

You are simply wrong. There is NO equality in life. I would value Nikola Tesla's soul over yours anytime. And so there are souls of more and less worth.
Extreme cases would be muslims who stone a woman who got raped by men because she shamed the honor of the family by being raped.
Listen man you are totally deluded in thinking there is equality.
There are people who spread superb info around the world and they are not really valued as much as they are. They ALL together save this world from stupidity. To talk about 1 messiah is crap everyone knows that.
Everyone learns from everyone else. And there are superb people on this world, mediocre and shit people. Your equality ravings will not put you in the same importance bracket as say Nassim Haramein. Its always the little unimportant people loud mouthing the most about equality, a reversed form of the messiah complex I must say. Let us remain objective here and call something what it really is.
