I often wonder if I have a 'Messiah Complex'.

What do you think?

 Quoting: Azeratel Axo

Make it the topic of your next prayer to God and get back to us with the results.

Asking questions would show you to not have a puffed up ego about your relationship with God. For myself I'm still reading the book after many hours and it has more answers for than it does 'new questions' although I do know they exist and other people are a lot better at spotting flaws in my 'beliefs' than I am at spotting them myself. My escape from being wrong is if I have some sort of reasonable reply. For the Bible I try to have more than 3 references to a theory before I open my mouth. Sooner or later I have to say that is all I have right now. If I include that in a prayer it sometimes works out that while covering a different subject or searching I find something that is new to me and is useful to the point being discussed.

If I can bury somebody in relevant verses I consider that a 'win' so there is an element that is pure vanity but hopefully a win on one point is not carried over to when your next point. If something has my thinking is off and if I can't admit it then I can't accept what is newer yet fits better. An example is the servants in Romans 13 makes more sense and it is promoted in prophecy in all of Jeremiah 25 that it is the rulers of the nations that come under judgment rather than the Church being the servants. The mission they were given was to publish the Gospels and take the purse strings from the temple money-changers. (if they could, so far it's pretty one sided).

That Jer:25 says the whole earth is involved and the prophecy in the seals says 1/4 of the earth will be affected it is the 'syndrome' that puts those two together that 'shows me' that the book is divine in nature as far as saying all the inhabitable parts of the earth will be 1/4 of the whole earth. Without the 'syndrome' you might not argue that connection. Tack on a few other things like the old earth creation thing is adding a zero to a certain date and do that 6 times and creation has a timeline that nobody could have known back then. Do the page on Ezekiel's temple being connected to the circumference of the earth and that sort of stuff is 'weird' but possible.

Do the ones that get a negative reaction to the Bible better or worse off with God? While He isn't happy with you when you are doing bad things He doesn't hold grudges and at some point He stops you if you can't stop yourself. If one was 'better than the other' He would tip the scales in favor of that outcome.

Re:22:11:
He that is unjust,
let him be unjust still:
and he which is filthy,
let him be filthy still:
and he that is righteous,
let him be righteous still:
and he that is holy,
let him be holy still.

They could think of a better way to celebrate the cross, perhaps wash the path with holy water and bottle it for sale back home. Offer free foot baths or something equally benign that results in fewer police having to be onsite. The cross was a Jewish thing (end of the bruise to the heel) Gentiles only came in at Acts 10 so Peter and Paul should be leading the cleanup. Just saying it did say Americans right at the start so not a real humble crowd to begin with. Nobody would envy the Jews having to deal with that.

And for the record cornstarch, in all the fountains so people could literally 'walk on water' could net $5 a walk. Let the IDF put in the right white powder.
