In my beer drinking days I found many better tasting Stouts than Guinness...

My favorites:

Young's Double Chocolate Stout
Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout
Mother's Milk Oatmeal Stout (more local to NY area)

Prefer all of those over Guinness....

Of course I imagine that Guinness in the states tastes nothing like it does in Europe.

I am not Canadian..I live in Canada.I am English.Born and bred ,schooled and all.Now I live here where I am free to grow my own potatoes twice a year weather permitting.But I just go to the supermarket and get them for 2 bucks ten pound..thats what 95p?saves a lot of bother and provides more beer drinking time that doesnt require drinking black bacteria shite..I bet your 17 or 18 trying to sound big..right?

all excellent beers. You can find quality beers from any particular region of the world if you look hard enough.

Regardless, I was never that impressed or blown away by the Guinness offerings... Good? Yes... The best I've found? Certainly not.
