I work in the health Care industry, and I know Aspartame is very bad for you. It will give you symptoms eventually like MS and other bad things. It increases your risk for cancer. It is a very bad thing to put into milk. It is better to eat sugar then to take aspartame into your body. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 35323755 Thailand 03/02/2013 04:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here's a start; [link to www.gpo.gov] IDFA and NMPF request their proposed amendments to the milk standard of identity to allow optional characterizing flavoring ingredients used in milk (e.g., chocolate flavoring added to milk) to be sweetened with any safe and suitable sweetener--including non- nutritive sweeteners such as aspartame. IDFA and NMPF state that the proposed amendments would promote more healthful eating practices and reduce childhood obesity by providing for lower-calorie flavored milk products. They state that lower-calorie flavored milk would particularly benefit school children who, according to IDFA and NMPF, are more inclined to drink flavored milk than unflavored milk at school. |

(Although I do like this "Sparking ICE that's being sold, although I'm sure it's not as safe as filtered water...at least it has some green tea extract in it.) I notice people who do drink it are literally addicted to it to make things worse. |

Quoting: danes1 The Food and Drug Administration is asking for data related to those sweeteners. [link to www.cnsenvironmentallaw.com] There are already artificial sweeteners in dairy products. For example, a lot of yogurt is low-to-no calories and it is marked as such so you know that it has aspartame or some other fake sweetener in it. However, NOW, they want permission to not have to label the containers any more. This seems a deliberate move to bury these chemicals and the public will have no way of knowing that "other" or "natural flavors" encompasses. I wrote the dairy I purchase my milk from and told them that I am sensitive to aspartame, (and I am), and that labeling things like their eggnog would be something critical for me. They reassured me they had no intention of doing this. I would encourage others to write and make their concerns known. For me, it would be the difference between drinking and using dairy products or not. I would not want to chance putting aspartame in my body, unknowingly. here are some of the side effects of aspartame- [link to www.disabled-world.com] for more search out the dangers of aspartame and splenda. It took me years to convince my kids to give up chewing gum since the majority of it contains aspartame. I kept reminding her, it only takes a little poison to kill a rat, meaning that even that little piece of gum was dangerous to their health. |

They want to make sure NOTHING escapes being poisoned to the maximum extent possible. I'm not quite sure when people are ever going to finally rise up and say no more, but it better be soon, before they are all simply too sick to even get out of bed. |
