This should be getting much bigger headlines. New bill HR 748, would require all persons 18-25 to perform a two year mandatory "national service.

Quoting: Scribbler ^^THIS. Bingo. Go sign up kids who have nothing better to do rather than make it mandatory for everyone. My kid is busy getting an engineering degree, don't bother him with this...go get his stoner buddies who are still living w/their parents and a part time job a the quickie mart. I agree 100%. If the young person is in college, or working well enough to care for themselves.... support their efforts and encourage them to greatness. The loser type... two years of service to America and perhaps they'd become useful citizens.
