People often comment that the state is beautiful.
Really?
Half if not more of all the trees are dead do to a super bark beetle infestation. It never rains, hardly ever get decent snowfall, the MONSANTO farmers are sucking aquifers dry, wind blows all the time, high altitude means lack of oxygen *hypoxia* which means your brain doesn't fire all pistons.
Now why are the people so slow and thick? Imagine if you were born here, you never received enough Oxygen which stunts thought process.
The city of Alamosa also known as Salamosa because the Salmonella that plagues the rivers, streams and water supply. It is a super resistant strain from all the hormones used by farmers/ranchers.
