The union ws conjured up as an economic union to create bigger markets despite the hogwash. Like any capitalist creation, greed is bound to eventually overwhelm it.

Our problem with worldwise capitalism is greed. It permeates at all levels but is at its most acute at the top where wealth is collecting. This will eventually pauperise most of the world's labour. People will try fascism which is capitalism on steroids and the process will carry on until they are in rags.
