Why don't you read the actual Bill:
"LARGE CAPACITY MAGAZINE" DOES NOT MEAN:
A .22 CALIBER TUBE AMMUNITION FEEDING DEVICE;
OR
A TUBULAR MAGAZINE THAT IS CONTAINED IN A 4 LEVER-ACTION FIREARM.
Quoting: Instant Karma I read the actual bill. That's how I know that you're lying. You cited the only two exceptions in the entire bill. Neither of them cover shotguns. All pump-action shotguns fit the definition of "high capacity magazines". Almost all semi-auto shotguns do as well. This Bill could never be interpreted to ban shotguns, just the high capacity magazines. As long as a shotgun didn't have one of those magazines attached, it would still be legal. I'm not going to argue with someone who can't read. The bill only excludes .22s with tubular magazines and lever action rifles. Shotguns are specifically included: "or more than 5 shotgun shells (large-capacity magazine)"The intent of the bill is clearly to ban high capacity magazines, not to ban any guns with stock magazines. Anyone who adds a high capacity magazine would be in violation. It sounds like they will add an amendment to make that more explicit. Shotguns will not be banned by this bill. Mark my words.
