Why are there no photos of the Florida sinkhole that swallowed the guy in his bed?

This is the biggest day of this story...

i saw on the live feed, which has since been pulled, helicopter footage of a shadowy floor in the middle of whats left of the house. need either better cameras or more light to lessen the contrast.

didn't look round to me, but rather a prefect rectangle. almost about a foot in from either wall.

I am starting to think more about this underground lab, or something that these guys where working on and it collapsed or gave way. That hole just looked to man made by the shape.

I read that the police won't pronounce the man dead, they told the family they have to petition the court to get an official death pronouncement. Weird...?

I agree that this has to be somehow related to Jeb Bush, because nothing else makes sense as far as what they are trying to "tell" us with this little episode. I would think that it's a warning to him, though - even his brother can't save him now!!

Good call. I missed that part of the feed, but have since seen it. Why are they digging at the hole? If it is 60+ feet deep then what ever falls into it would not be retrievable from the depth that bucket can go.

This thing stinks guys.

None stop coverage all weekend. then comes the day they reveal the hole and no one is covering it? what is that?

totally fishy. hole apparently small. ground now suddenly stable enough to take heavy equipment

This one is just a weather map now. Funny how they have a live feed all morning, then the hole is shown and no feed.

yeah, sinkholes are usually not perfectly round nor rectanglar, and perfectly within the walls of a bedroom.

this was fishy from day one and i don't care what anyone says. we will never know the truth as they have a good way of covering up everything.

i'm starting to just question reality at all these days...

are we even real? now i just sound crazy haha.

These are the only two I have. I doubt if they will do more digging...you can see the bucket go down and not come up with much. It's probably too deep to dig more.

Reports from property owners located about 1/2 mile from the sinkhole itself indicate that a contractor had been using a vibratory compactor in a new subdivision, Parsons Wood, during the weeks preceding the collapse of the sinkhole under the home at 240 Faithway Dr., in Seffner. Parsons Wood is a K. Hovnanian Homes development, with several homes now under construction. This new subdivision is located about 1700 ft. in a straight line from the deadly sinkhole. Absent any analytics or subsurface geologic information, these two events appear to be unrelated, and apparently nothing more than an unexpected coincidence. Reports also indicate that the sinkhole property owner had a sinkhole survey/analysis performed sometime during the last couple of years with negative results.

The heavy equipment stayed on the street where it was yesterday. The long neck of the bucket was the only thing near the house.

If this supposed hole is 100 feet deep, why is that piece of equipment digging only a feet deep? What is the purpose of them digging now?

Seriously. There is a body down there isn't there? Where is the respect for the guy? lets tear down the house and have as much stuff as possible fall in then we will dig at it with a backhoe.

This is ridiculousness. How much more time and resources is being devoted to taking down this house then were devoted to trying to rescue this guy.

Even more reason to think this whole hole is a hoax.

Workers in standing inches from the "hole" yet its to dangerous and the search is has been called off. Search? Perhaps excavation is a better word to use.

Never said there wasn't a hole...just said we haven't seen a photo of it. And, we still haven't seen a really good view of it. And what's weird is, neither has anyone else, it seems. (since that night)

No one has been near that hole.

And even if we do finally get a camera pointing down into the hole, it's still the weirdest story I've seen.

I'm glad they finally got that roof off. They should knock away the rest of the walls.

Just tuning back in. Isn't the hole in the room to the left of where they are? I saw the aerial shot earlier and it was in the middle not to the far right.

It was the middle room. Things look a little differently since they've knocked down some more walls.

Wish that cameraman would zoom in.

On the live video, they're getting off of the bucket and loading up bags of something, bringing them back to the street and carrying them off camera. I've seen about 14-18 inch flat black bags and small white garbage bags coming from the 'hole'

I think they are salvaging items from the room on the right.
