Jeremy stated in an interview today that he is grateful for the personal items that were salvaged, but he now wants to get his brother's body out of the hole.

Re: Why are there no photos of the Florida sinkhole that swallowed the guy in his bed?
so we all have to believe:

On a specific street under a specific piece of concrete slab, a hole opened up and "swallowed" someone just above that specific spot. At a house that had an inspection regarding sink holes a couple of months prior??

And that person is gone?

but the hole if growing that fast that night has suddenly over that past few days stopped "swallowing" things and got what it came for....

Uh oh..will soon have to keep a count

The sinkhole was discovered around 4:00pm Monday afternoon, less than 2 miles from the scene of last week's sinkhole that left one man dead.

That is not quite what I have been waiting for. I want to see the pictures of the "hole" before they started destroying the house. I am sure that the engineers and / or law enforcement that went into that house--someone took a picture of the original hole / destruction. I want to see the pictures. The engineers were reviewing everything and walking around. I am sure they would have taken some kind of pictures. Those are the pictures I want to see and in this day and age it would be really, really stupid for the Public to believe that they cannot have these available. Can you skeptics about those that question things comprehend this? Think for yourself>

I found this article that states the sinkhole is not yet visible.

The opening of the sinkhole has been covered by the home, but once emergency officials and engineers can see inside it more clearly, they could begin planning how to deal with it. They also need to decide what will happen to the two homes on either side of the now-demolished house. Experts say the sinkhole has "compromised" those homes, but it's unclear whether steps can be taken to save them.

I agree poster...something is off. I did not buy the brothers tears....there were none. I may be wrong, BUT the Obama MSM has been shoving some big hoaxes down our throats, and people are seeing thru them. I think this is another hoax, but a small one designed to reset the minds of people with a smaller pill to swallow, and buy as gospel truth to build upon into bigger stories that the MSM will present for us soon on behald of Obama.

I don't know if someone mentioned it already ... but that's a lousy photo fake of Mr. "Jeffrey Bush":

[link to media.cmgdigital.com]

The tree is taken frontal and throws no shadow at all (as the rest of the interior) while Mr. "Jeffrey Bush" throws a shadow in front of the christmas tree to the right.

And please notice his crotch is blurred out as the person who did this pisspot Photoshop job was probably on his first day using it (or was underpaid, or lazy or a combination of everything).

Well I couldn't do it any better but then again I don't try to sell anybody a 'scripted reality'.

And notice his thumb (left hand). Nice overlay "cut".

Namaste,

Someone posted a link to that Florida woman who got stuck in two separate sinkholes in her yard - what did they do about those? NOTHING. The lady put a coffee table over the first sinkhole, and the other one's just sitting there. Why not give her lot the ol' bulldozer treatment too??

Was his bedroom floor dirt? How can a sink hole swollow his room without taking the floor/ joists which are tied in with the structure. This large a hole would have pulled in most of the house. Was there a basement?
 Quoting: Lazlo 1557993

There are no joist or structural elements under a FL house. Only some concrete, and then the dirt.

That crane is having a difficult time peeling back that slab.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32192614

If that is the case, then no way a hole could have formed in the slab. The mesh would hold the slab together.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35557273

That home is old and cheaply built...obviously. The "mesh" would have weakened over the years.
 Quoting: nutmeg

The house was built prior to 1974...it's possibly much older than that (that's the last time it was sold, so may have been bought by the "Bush" family" second-hand), so no telling how old it really is. Consequently, in that area of FL, there is no way to know exactly what the building codes were that many years ago. there may not have been any codes in that section of the state requiring "mesh" in the concrete.

Reports from property owners located about 1/2 mile from the sinkhole itself indicate that a contractor had been using a vibratory compactor in a new subdivision, Parsons Wood, during the weeks preceding the collapse of the sinkhole under the home at 240 Faithway Dr., in Seffner. Parsons Wood is a K. Hovnanian Homes development, with several homes now under construction. This new subdivision is located about 1700 ft. in a straight line from the deadly sinkhole. Absent any analytics or subsurface geologic information, these two events appear to be unrelated, and apparently nothing more than an unexpected coincidence. Reports also indicate that the sinkhole property owner had a sinkhole survey/analysis performed sometime during the last couple of years with negative results.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10539402

You FAKE-tards need to knock it off.....they use "vibratory compactors" all the time to settle the dirt before pouring a foundation under a house.

This story is horrible and tragic. Sinkholes have swallowed up whole houses or neighborhoods. If you don't live near a sinkhole area and know what the fuck you're talking about - STFU!!!!!!!

WTF!!!!!! Zoom in (not the street level view, the view *just* before street-level, from above....YOU CAN NOT SEE THE HOUSE!!!!

There is a tree which *COMPLETELY* occludes the house from view! The tree (and its perfect shadow outline) appear photo-shopped to my eye.

Check this out, people!

Also from the street-level view, the house to the left of #240, while viewing from Faithway Drive toward the front door of the house, appears to be a different structure from street-level to the closest overhead view.

Anyone else check this out and have any thoughts???!!!

wtf This story gets weirder and weirder!!!

Seffner biggest sinkhole: it is now a tomb

[link to www.wfla.com]

Updated: Mar 05, 2013 1:04 PM EST

SEFFNER, FL - Crews are finishing demolishing the house and filling up the sinkhole that killed a man last week in Seffner. Nothing is left where the house once stood...

...With the sinkhole home at 240 Faithway Drive almost gone, the neighbor houses still stand vacant. Authorities will determine if they need to be condemned as well.

If they are, Buddy Wickett who owns the property on which the sinkhole home once stood, thinks it is a good idea to make this land a memorial park for Jeff Bush. Jeremy Bush would like it for his mother to have a place to come to remember his brother, he told us.

Just wondering... why are there so many people asking questions about this sinkhole like it's a conspiracy? What exactly would be the reasoning behind faking a sinkhole that swallows some random dude sleeping in his bed? Might be a little different if it was an important political figure or something.

Out of the thousands of sinkholes that pop up every year in florida, one gets a guy in his bed sleeping and everyone thinks he was targeted by "mole people" or the "gubment", it's really just bad luck on his part to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, get over it, there's bigger things going on in the USA to watch.

Any "why would they" questions is ignorant beyond all imagination for any topic.

Not the hole but the size of and the lack of effort to show it and the lack of effort to search/recover a body is the conspiracy. As even you by now see that lies were told as usual for reason to be found out later. Hole was no where near the size stated. Heavy equipment was directly placed on the property during and after demolition. Notice no effort to retrieve a body? Notice the calling off of the search within 24 hours? Yet, plenty of time and plenty of structural strength to knock down walls and place dirt into a hole of straight edges that fit the backhoe bucket like a glove.

Finally, a look into the hole.

Unsettling video footage has given the first look into the massive sinkhole that opened up beneath a Florida home and swallowed a man from his bed in February.

Jeff Bush, 37, was sucked into the sinkhole while he slept in his family home in Seffner and when his brother, Jeremy, jumped in the hole to try to save him, he was nowhere to be seen.

Footage taken by a contractor who examined the hole shortly before the home was demolished has now been released by the county, and shows that every piece of furniture has vanished.

Most bizarre is how the ground has completely given way - revealing the brown dirt beneath - yet hats, high-visibility jackets and shelves remain on the wall above where Bush's bed once was

Video shows view inside killer sinkhole

SEFFNER (FOX 13) -
Two more homes have been condemned after a sinkhole swallowed and killed a Seffner man last month, and we're getting our first look at video shot inside the home before it was demolished.

Jeffrey Bush, 37, died when the hole opened up while he slept in the bedroom of the Faithway Drive home. His brother, Jeremy, tried to jump into the hole and save Jeff. He said at the time part of the bed could be seen below in the hole.

But the video -- shot by a contractor who examined the hole just before the home was demolished and provided by the county -- shows the sinkhole had grown to the point that it had swallowed the bed and Jeff Bush's body completely. All that can be seen in the hole is dirt.

The footage shows there was almost no floor remaining in the bedroom, though amazingly, clothes and other personal effects were still hanging on the walls, apparently undisturbed.

1. Why are there so many people asking questions about this sinkhole like it's a conspiracy?

First of all, it was a very unusual case. Yes, sinkholes are not uncommon, but have you ever heard of a hole that swallowed and killed someone? The incident was handled in such a way that raised many questions. There was no proof given to the public about the hole, until much later...indicating that there may have been some reason to keep the details about the hole undisclosed. There were decisions made that didn't make sense. Why not make some effort to get the body? Sure they didn't know for sure, but the ground wasn't that unsafe...they acted like the entire property would collapse, which it didn't even after heavy construction equipment demolished the home.

2. What exactly would be the reasoning behind faking a sinkhole that swallows some random dude sleeping in his bed?

No one ever said the sinkhole was faked. Period.

3. Might be a little different if it was an important political figure or something.

This was a rare incident, regardless of the status of the victim.
