That stuff stinks extremely bad when cut. I know, I just did my own so I know exactly what I speak of. You must be a hack, handyman wannabe dude who thinks he is Mike Holmes. Its your loss, pay the customer to settle up and learn a damn lesson. DO NOT CUT WOOD OR EVEN WORSE---LAMINATES---INSIDE A CUSTOMERS HOUSE. You probably didnt even shut the furnace off either. No wonder he wants a duct cleaning. I cannot believe how stupid you are OP. Uneducated, non-journeyman hack who was probably just a dumb laborer who got fired and now plays carpenter and advertises on Kijiji. REAL contractors have a damn large trailer with its own power and they saw up stuff in there. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1561549 I hope you get sued for 10k. Idiot, where did he say it was laminate? And who is the hack, handyman wannabe who just did his won house? Are you a professional contractor or carpenter? Journeyman? Do you even know what you are talking about? Come find a journeyman in Texas, I dare you. We have the freedom here to start any type of business we want and do whatever job we want. Been a carpenter for 20 years. Oh, and I cut in the yard - because there is no space to cut in the house. And I use the homeowners power. Who would want to listen to a generator all day. Fucking moron. |

Cool story bro User ID: 34109371 Canada 03/02/2013 06:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My company performed $1500 work for RCMP officer Brian Naxxxx. Brian and his wife held payment so they could assess the cost to clean up their house of all sawdust as he is allergic to dust. Quoting: Person445 I offered to have his entire duct system cleaned, his dry cleaning paid for and a maid service, which all came to $750.. he said no. He called a restoration company and charged me $1100.00 in cleaning, $250 in a total-home duct cleaning and $200 dry-cleaning for his uniforms that got dust on them. We now owe this RCMP cop $50 according to him. When I said that he was being completely unfair and totally unreasonable and I told him my company would have to lien his house, he threatened to "destroy me". RCMP cop... real nice guy, just ripped us off for $1500 and got a free floor installation. Most cops are Dick heads anyways. Take him to court. Stick to the original contract. |

Quoting: Person445 One big cabal. The Politics of Obedience: The Discourse of Voluntary Servitude by Étienne de la Boétie The fact is that the tyrant is never truly loved, nor does he love. Friendship is a sacred word, a holy thing; it is never developed except between persons of character, and never takes root except through mutual respect; it flourishes not so much by kindnesses as by sincerity. What makes one friend sure of another is the knowledge of his integrity: as guarantees he has his friend's fine nature, his honor, and his constancy. There can be no friendship where there is cruelty, where there is disloyalty, where there is injustice. And in places where the wicked gather there is conspiracy only, not companionship: these have no affection for one another; fear alone holds them together; they are not friends, they are merely accomplices. |
