I have a few pieces myself. Amazing work and not to bad price range. You have any Amish around your area. I know a guy who knows a Amish guy who makes all sorts of furniture. Wish I could give ya more info. Good luck! |

They are good hard working people. :) My father used to know this one Amish family very well from buying from them for years and years. He was even allowed into thier home and everything...had dinner with them a few times too! I had to wait in the car one time when I went with him while he got his stuff. I wanted to go in and see...but they just don't let anybody in thier homes... My dad said nope you got to stay in the car. lol |

Nice wood is now expensive. Ikea's good, but tires quickly; wood just looks better with age, or you can refinish it in a modern stylee as you like, and fix it if it breaks. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17431247 I looked at Dutchcrafter's but unfortunately I am not wealthy enough to buy American-made furniture. I'm surprised by the quality of their furniture...solid wood and sturdy construction. [link to www.worldmarket.com] |
