Some friend posted this on my quit smoking thread and I had never seen it before. I knew that our cells regenerate, I just didn't know how fast. :TOMABANEFOX: It's more humane this way ya know, or burn on totem pole. Choice is yours. |

However we cannot reverse aging damage, at least not yet. although, you could regrow your telomeres a bit. Especially the last part about the garden of eden diet. That is bunk. But we do change out cells rapidly, brain not so much tho. :TOMABANEFOX: It's more humane this way ya know, or burn on totem pole. Choice is yours. |

Peace, I try not to attack posters on any of my threads, if they are just totally out of control I sack em. Actually I am really up on this material, but thought it would be of interest to many who are not. Yes, there are many factors that cause aging, smoking being one of the big ones. :TOMABANEFOX: It's more humane this way ya know, or burn on totem pole. Choice is yours. |

But we do change out cells rapidly, brain not so much tho. I think the photos and pic's were bunk - but I can tell you from my own experiences, the cleaner I eat - the better I feel and the younger I look. When I eat chocolate or not enough greens, my eyes get all wrinkly and crinkly. That's my kidneys and liver getting all congested. If you drink fresh veggie juices each day and other whole foods, get off of all pre-packaged foods and eat more raw and unprocessed foods, more miso, tofu, brown rice - you will lose weight and look fabulous. Also cleansing the blood, kidney's, liver, lungs, skin (dry skin brushing and either salt baths, seaweed baths, baking soda baths) will help your body to regenerate. I learned all of this because I suffered from cirrhosis of the liver at 28 and severe chronic eczema. I healed both through cleansing, herbs and building my body with juicing and whole foods. I fell off the wagon for about 4 years (I still juiced, took herbs and ate clean) but I did smoke organic cigs and drink a lot of caffeine and occasional pepsi's. It took a toll on my body and metabolism and I am cleansing again and rejuvenating my blood and body. Here are some fun ways to learn more about your body and how to heal naturally: TCM - Traditional Chinese Medicine and organs of body [link to tcm.health-info.org] TCM - Chinese Facial Diagnosis [link to www.acupuncturetoday.com] Facial Self Diagnosis [link to www.hps-online.com] You can also search for images to see the charts. Desert Fox (OP) User ID: 8786935 United States 03/02/2013 10:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Practicing Tai Chi will help slow the aging process as well. 20 minutes a day, slow, concentrated movements in sync with deep breathing will energize you as well as help to maintain flexibility. Quoting: Hopeless I believe that, just the deep breathing alone is a benefit. Oxygenating the body is a good thing. :TOMABANEFOX: It's more humane this way ya know, or burn on totem pole.
